With this milestone, Lopez legally shed the Affleck surname from her moniker. While the majority of the financial specifics remained confidential, it was disclosed that neither party would owe the other alimony, and their union had been childless, thereby rendering custody a non-issue.
The power couple tied the knot in July 2022 amidst much fanfare, only for Lopez to file for divorce in August 2024, citing a separation that had transpired over a year prior. This was a redux of sorts for the pair, who had previously been an item in the early 2000s.
