Jessica, 43, and Cash, 45, first crossed paths in Vancouver in 2004 on the set of the superhero film "Fantastic Four." Alba portrayed Sue Storm, while Warren served as a director's assistant. They tied the knot on May 19, 2008, and have been blessed with three cherished children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.

Earlier in January, the duo presented a united front to celebrate Hayes' 7th birthday. On New Year's Eve, Alba posted a cryptic message stating that her 2024 was "brimming with connection, growth, adventures, laughter, peace, sisterhood, transformation, rebirth, joy, and an abundance of love."

In September 2021, the founder of The Honest Company opened up to PEOPLE about constructing her business empire, the joys and challenges of parenting, and her marriage to Warren. She revealed that they would often voice their individual needs to prioritize their relationship. "At different times, we had different requirements. When I had the kids, I needed a date night once a week. And he desired me to be present on weekends without work commitments," she explained, adding that they would frequently "over-communicate about issues before they escalated to the point of no return."

"I don't believe we have any secrets at all," Alba continued. "We just need to keep each other in check."

In July 2021, Alba candidly discussed juggling parenting duties and her marriage during a chat on Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt's Instagram series "Before, During & After Baby." "I think he probably gets the raw deal. And it's not just him; I'd say it's us," she admitted. "When we're enjoying each other's company, it's an 'us' thing that also nurtures me. It's tough. It's nearly impossible."

"For two and a half years, everything is rosy. But afterward, you become more like roommates," the "Sin City" actress added with a laugh. "You go through the motions, fulfill responsibilities, and it often feels like you're just ticking boxes."

She revealed that they used to have weekly date nights but eventually stopped due to various reasons. "We're just not consistent. But the key is to communicate when you're unhappy and nip it in the bud instead of letting it fester, leading to animosity and eventually exploding – which we've experienced before!" she said.

"We have the friendship and comfort of knowing that 'you're not going anywhere,' so sometimes we don't treat each other the best. We don't consider their feelings as much as we would consider others' feelings," she admitted. "That's something we constantly work on."

Alba further added, "It's a life journey, and if you both decide to make it work every day, it will eventually work out, regardless of the drama or whatever happens."

To commemorate their anniversary in May 2024, Alba shared an Instagram post filled with photos spanning their 16 years of marriage. "I'm proud of us for making it this far. There are no definitive rules or guidance that can prepare you for committing to another person and choosing to be a family," she wrote. "Through thick and thin, we've consistently found our way back to each other and chosen each other again."
