Jessica Alba seems to be embracing the carefree spirit of summer following her divorce filing from her estranged spouse, Cash Warren. The 44-year-old actress sparked whispers of a new romance when she was snapped boarding a return flight to Los Angeles from Cancun, accompanied by none other than "Captain America" star Danny Ramirez, according to TMZ. Reports circulated that the duo soaked up the sun together in the picturesque town.

Despite the buzz around their impromptu getaway, sources close to Alba told People magazine that she isn't seriously dating anyone at the moment. Instead, she is relishing her newfound freedom as a single woman, months after the "Honey" star filed for divorce from Warren, bringing an end to their 16-year marriage.

In a video captured by TMZ, Ramirez, 32, and the "Fantastic Four" beauty both attempted to fly under the radar with their snapback hats as they jetted back to L.A. from Mexico on a Sunday afternoon. Upon their arrival in the City of Angels, Alba and Ramirez walked side by side, closely escorted through a private terminal by a vigilant security guard.

Representatives for both Alba and Ramirez did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. Ramirez, who portrayed Lt. Mickey "Fanboy" Garcia in "Top Gun: Maverick" and Falcon in "Captain America: Brave New World," is set to reprise his Marvel role in "Avengers: Doomsday," alongside heavyweights like Robert Downey Jr., Pedro Pascal, and Chris Hemsworth.

Since announcing her split from Warren in February, Alba has reportedly been on a handful of dates, insiders shared with People. "She's been receiving a lot of attention since the divorce. She's flattered and genuinely enjoying her return to singledom," the sources revealed. "She's gone on a few dates, but nothing serious – she's focused on herself and her kids. A relationship isn't on her radar right now."

The mother of three is "thrilled" to dive back into her professional life and will soon commence filming "The Mark" in Australia alongside Orlando Bloom, who recently called off his engagement to Katy Perry. "She's in a fantastic place. She's excited to resume filming. She's doing what she loves and keeping her circle close," the source confided to People.

In January, the Honest Co. founder announced her separation from Warren after two decades together. "I've been on a personal journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash," she penned on Instagram. "I'm proud of how we've grown as a couple and in our marriage over the past 20 years, and it's now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals."

She added, "We're moving forward with love, kindness, and respect for each other, and we'll forever be family. Our children remain our top priority, and we kindly request privacy at this time." Alba and Warren first met on the set of "Fantastic Four" in 2004 and tied the knot in 2008.

In the divorce petition filed in February and obtained by Fox News Digital, the couple requested joint custody of their three children: Honor, 16; Haven, 13; and Hayes, 7.
