Jessica Simpson's All's Fair look in the new Hulu show is a breathtaking transformation. For her first on-screen acting role in 15 years, the Newlyweds alum donned facial prosthetics to embody Lee-Ann, a woman whose plastic surgeries went awry, leading her to seek legal assistance from Kim Kardashian's character, Allura Grant.
In episode three of the series, Jessica wore enlarged fake cheeks with sunken undereyes, a nose piece, and large, glossed lips. As Lee-Ann explains that her husband's affair prompted her to undergo the surgeries, her face and cheeks remain unmovable, adding to the emotional intensity of the scene.

Beyond her unexpected on-screen look, the "A Public Affair" singer surprised herself with her acting prowess after being away from the industry for more than a decade. "I didn't even know that I could do it," Jessica told Entertainment Tonight during the show's October 16 premiere. "I haven't acted in so long and normally I play the ditzy blonde, but this time I come in very vulnerable. It's very emotional." The 45-year-old mother of Maxi, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6, with ex Eric Johnson, added of Lee-Ann's emotional journey, "I didn't know I could cry on cue, and somehow I did it. So, I impressed myself. And then I go, bat s--t crazy. You're gonna see a brand new side of me."
But Jessica wasn't the only actress on set who turned in an impressive performance. In fact, Glenn Close praised Kim for how she led the cast. "I was so impressed by Kim," the eight-time Oscar nominee told E! News in May. "I say that absolutely sincerely." The 78-year-old was also blown away by the SKIMS founder's work ethic. "First of all, she's a very sweet woman who does her homework," Glenn continued. "She has great people around her, which says a lot. She's not a prima donna. She was studying for her law exam during some of the setups near the end of our shooting. She has a lot of balls in the air."
