Fresh from his commentary on Donald Trump's State of the Union address, Jimmy Kimmel launched a scathing attack on the missing Epstein files reportedly linked to the president. Last night, the late-night host zeroed in on the revelation that the Justice Department had withheld 53 pages of FBI material, allegedly focusing on allegations against Trump. NPR reported that these pages included interviews and notes from conversations with a woman who accused Trump of sexual abuse decades ago when she was a minor.

"I know, I'm as shocked as you," Kimmel remarked. "I thought he got rid of NPR." He continued, "The woman claimed she was just 13 when she met Trump. The FBI interviewed her four times in 2019. But for reasons that remain unexplained, the details of those interviews are unavailable."
Kimmel explained that Democrats on the House Oversight Committee had seen the documents and confirmed their existence. "Why are they allowed to hide this stuff?" he asked. "They're supposed to release the files. What a bunch of hypocrites these people are. If these interviews were on Hunter Biden's laptop, we'd know every word of them."
He added that the public deserved to know if Trump was involved in the crimes committed by Jeffrey Epstein. "The reason we don't know is because people working for the president have repeatedly blacked out his name and made interviews disappear," Kimmel said. "It seems to me that the best thing for President Trump, who I'm sure did nothing wrong, would be to order an unredaction of his name and release all the Trump-Epstein files so he can prove how unbelievably innocent he is."
On The Late Show, Stephen Colbert similarly targeted the missing files. "That these files are missing should be the biggest story in the world," the host said. He added, "It's totally on brand for the DOJ, especially this DOJ, to be protecting Trump."
