Joe Rogan has weighed in on the escalating legal drama unfolding between the co-stars of "It Ends With Us," Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. During the March 22nd episode of his "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast, the 57-year-old commentator bluntly stated, "They've messed up," referring to Lively, 37, and her spouse, Ryan Reynolds. "Ryan's now trying to extricate himself from this mess. He's attempting to withdraw from the lawsuit, but they're insisting, 'You're a pivotal figure in this.'"

In December 2024, news broke that Lively had filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, accusing him of sexual harassment and tarnishing her reputation. Baldoni vehemently denied all allegations and countersued Lively, Reynolds, 48, and her publicist Leslie Sloane for an astonishing $400 million. Court documents obtained earlier this month revealed that both Lively and Reynolds had moved to dismiss Baldoni's lawsuit, firmly denying the accusations.

Furthermore, Baldoni launched a separate $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times, which reported on Lively's initial complaints. The newspaper has since sought to dismiss this lawsuit. Earlier this month, Judge Lewis J. Liman granted The New York Times' motion to stay the lawsuit pending his review of their dismissal motion. In another filing, Baldoni insisted that a jury must decide the matter.

Recounting the heated exchange between Lively and Baldoni, Rogan described the entire saga as "utterly bonkers." He accused Lively and Reynolds of attempting to seize control not just of the movie but of the entire franchise. ("It Ends With Us," based on Colleen Hoover's best-selling novel, premiered in August 2024.)

Commenting on Baldoni's lawsuit against The New York Times, Rogan remarked, "He's got a solid case there too, especially for a guy who's known for being such a sweetheart and then saying, 'Enough is enough.'"

Rogan also highlighted Lively's claim that Baldoni had entered her makeup trailer while she was partially undressed, including during breastfeeding sessions. In response, Baldoni produced alleged text messages between him and Lively, in which she seemingly invited him into her trailer, stating, "I'm just pumping in my trailer if you wanna work out our lines." (Lively and Reynolds, married since 2012, are parents to four children.)

"You've got text exchanges going back and forth," Rogan emphasized. "They never anticipated anyone would come forward with the evidence... Because everyone's intimidated. Because Ryan Reynolds is A-list, Blake Lively is A-list."

The legal battle rages on, with a trial scheduled for March 2026.
