"I hate to postpone shows in a town going through such awful challenges and grief, as it feels unfair to the audience," Mulaney said. "However, I don't feel comfortable asking thousands of people each night to leave their homes, gather at the venue, and then make their way home when the situation is so unsafe."

Mulaney was scheduled to perform three shows in Minneapolis as part of his Mister Whatever Tour, with one each on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In his Instagram post, he confirmed that tickets for these shows would be honored on their respective days of April 10th, 11th, and 12th.

Good was shot and killed in her car by an ICE agent on Wednesday. In the days since, protests have erupted in Minneapolis over the shooting, while President Donald Trump has taken to Truth Social to argue that the ICE officer acted in self-defense. Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis has slammed this argument, calling the claims "garbage."

"I am sorry to anyone who is disappointed," Mulaney concluded in his post. "I know a fun stand-up show could be a nice distraction, but it doesn't sit right with me to put anyone at risk."
