Embarking upon a journey as poignant as slipping into a bald cap to demonstrate my mastery in Photoshop, the 61-year-old Stamos penned a heartfelt caption dedicating these images to the unbreakable bond and unwavering solidarity he shares with his brother, @dcoulier. "Your unyielding courage, unshaken positivity, and resilient spirit in the face of this daunting challenge shine as a beacon of inspiration," he began, his words tinged with warmth and admiration. "My faith in your eventual triumph remains unwavering, and I am deeply honored to walk with you through every twist and turn of this arduous journey," he continued, warmly acknowledging Coulier's wife, Melissa, as "the most wondrous light in our lives, guiding us through the darkest of times."

The opening snapshot captures a tender moment, freezing the frame around these two lifelong friends and former screen partners standing side by side. At 65, Coulier bravely exposes his shaved scalp, while Stamos, donning a bald cap, stands in solidarity and empathy. The second slide portrays a heartwarming scene where Stamos and Coulier exchange smiles during the shaving ceremony, their deep-rooted friendship glowing brightly against the solemn backdrop. The final photograph depicts a scene of overwhelming warmth: Stamos and Melissa affectionately kiss Coulier's bald head, a silent gesture that speaks volumes of their overflowing love and unwavering support.

Coulier had exclusively disclosed his Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis to PEOPLE on November 13th. The diagnosis came as a shock, following a rapid swelling of his lymph nodes due to an upper respiratory infection in October, with one node ballooning to the size of a golf ball. Subsequent PET, CT scans, and a biopsy, recommended by his doctors, confirmed the grim news.

"Three days later, my doctors delivered the devastating news. 'We wish we could share better news, but you have aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma,' they said," Coulier recounted. "From a minor cold to a cancer diagnosis – it was overwhelming. It's been a whirlwind ride filled with emotional turbulence," he admitted to PEOPLE.

After absorbing the diagnosis, Coulier promptly shared the news with his "Full House" family, including Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, Scott Weinger, and series creator Jeff Franklin. "I didn't want them to learn about it second-hand, so I sent a group text," he explained, noting the immediate and overwhelming response of support. "They flooded me with messages of 'I'll be there. Name the time, and I know you're in great hands with Mel, but what else can we do?' The love we share is overwhelming and remarkable, especially after so many years of being each other's pillar of strength," he emphasized.

Shortly after Dave's interview with PEOPLE was published, Stamos posted a message on social media, reassuring his friend, "I'll be by your side through every twist and turn of this arduous journey, standing tall as your steadfast companion."
