Jonah Hill Is Unrecognizable With Bald Head for Outcome Role Transformation

Published: Feb 04 2026

Are you surprised by Jonah Hill's new look for the upcoming film **Outcome**? The **Superbad** alumni is nearly unrecognizable in a photo from the set of Apple TV's highly anticipated film, which he stars alongside Keanu Reeves.

On top of the significant weight loss he first debuted on the set of **Cut Off** in October, Jonah has taken his transformation a step further in this dark comedy. He's traded his usual curly locks for a bald look and, typically clean-shaven, he's donned a long, gray bushy beard and glasses. In the film, he plays Ira, a crisis lawyer for beloved Hollywood star Reef Hawk (played by Keanu).

**Outcome**, which Jonah also co-wrote and directs, will officially hit the platform on April 10 and follows protagonist Reef as he is extorted in exchange for a career-ending video. The film also stars Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer.

This isn't the first time Jonah has undergone a drastic transformation for a role. In 2016, he lost a significant amount of weight for his role in **War Dogs**, enlisting some admittedly simple advice from **21 Jump Street** costar Channing Tatum. "I called Channing Tatum and said, 'Hey, if I eat less and go to a trainer, will I get in good shape?'" he recalled during an appearance on **The Tonight Show** at the time. "He's like, 'Yeah, you dumb motherf--ker, of course you will. It's the simplest thing in the entire world.'"

While the 42-year-old has been open about his weight loss journey, he has also been candid about the body image struggles he's endured in the public eye. "I don't think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid-30s, even in front of family and friends," Jonah wrote in a since-deleted 2021 Instagram post. "Probably would have happened sooner if my childhood insecurities weren't exacerbated by years of public mockery about my body by press and interviewers."

In the post, though, Jonah shared that he had come to "finally love and accept" himself and encouraged his followers to do the same. "You're wonderful and awesome and perfect," he added. "All my love."
