Jonah Hill is poised to take the helm and shine in the upcoming Warner Bros. comedy feature, "Cut Off." The production has secured a lucrative $10 million California tax credit and is geared up to commence filming later this year. "Cut Off," still in the process of rounding out its stellar ensemble, revolves around two fraternal twins whose financial lifeline from their affluent parents is suddenly severed.

Fresh from wrapping up production on Apple's "Outcome," set for a year-end release alongside Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, and Matt Bomer, Hill will don the producer's hat once more under his Strong Baby banner, alongside Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin. This venture follows Strong Baby's successful foray into television with Amazon and A24's Benito Skinner-led series, "Overcompensating."

Hill's directorial credits include the critically acclaimed "Mid90s" and the insightful Netflix documentary, "Stutz." His recent screen appearances have graced films like "You People," "Don’t Look Up," "The Beach Bum," and "Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot," showcasing his versatility and range. Notably, he received Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor for his roles in "Moneyball" and "The Wolf of Wall Street," further cementing his status in Hollywood.

Moreover, Hill has stolen the spotlight in numerous comedy blockbusters such as "Knocked Up," "Superbad," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," and both installments of "21 Jump Street." Represented by WME, LBI, Narrative, and legal eagles Kevin Yorn and Todd Rubenstein of Yorn Levine, Hill continues to climb the ladder of success.

The Hollywood Reporter's review of "Mid90s" hailed the film as "Hill's 'Lady Bird,' a gem imbued with the authenticity of its creator's youth and the sophistication of a seasoned artist's detached observation." The critique further praised, "The movie exudes an impeccable yet unpretentious cool, evident in its creative and thoughtfully curated soundtrack."
