Jonathan Bailey has finally divulged his thoughts on the fan-casting frenzy surrounding his potential role as the comic book hero Batman in James Gunn's DC Universe. The 59-year-old, who has already confirmed a Batman movie in his DC universe titled The Brave and The Bold, has not yet decided on an actor for the titular role, but fans have been abuzz with suggestions, including names like Alan Ritchson, Robert Pattinson, Brandon Sklenar, Henry Cavill, and even Jonathan Bailey himself.

During an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, where he was named "People's Sexiest Man Alive 2025," the 37-year-old Bridgerton star shared his thoughts on the fan-casting. "Would I do Batman? I grew up with Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and of course Christian Bale and Robert Pattinson," he mused.
While acknowledging that playing the DC hero is a legacy, Bailey hinted that he might just be the one to don the cape someday. "I think James Gunn is amazing. Who knows," he added with a wink.
For now, there is no confirmation on the casting of Batman in The Brave and The Bold as the makers have not yet embarked on that process.
