Jonathan Majors is making a comeback with a new action project that signifies the next phase of his illustrious career. The actor is collaborating with The Daily Wire, a conservative media company co-founded by Ben Shapiro, on a film that marks his first major role since his legal case concluded.

The Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend are backing the project, which is being directed by Kyle Rankin from his own screenplay. The filmmakers are keeping the title, plot, and cast under wraps, but the story follows in the vein of 1980s and 1990s action films like Red Dawn and Toy Soldiers, focusing on "groups of teenage boys who had to band together to defeat invading enemies."

Majors, born Jonathan Michael Majors on September 7, 1989, in Lompoc, California, graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and the Yale School of Drama. He rose to prominence with The Last Black Man in San Francisco and Da 5 Bloods. He earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for Lovecraft Country and portrayed Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Majors also appeared as variants of the character in Loki.

In March 2023, Majors was arrested in New York following an incident involving his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. On December 18, 2023, a jury found him guilty of one count of reckless assault in the third degree and harassment, while acquitting him of another assault charge and one count of aggravated harassment. In April 2024, the court sentenced him to 52 weeks of a domestic violence intervention program and probation, and Marvel Studios subsequently parted ways with him.

TMZ reported that Majors began dating Meagan Good in 2023 and that the couple has since married. This new film represents a fresh start for Majors, who is once again proving his versatility and talent on the big screen.
