Fahy, a standout in The White Lotus, and Alcock, who shined in House of the Dragon, will portray sisters who are inextricably drawn into the seductive world of Michaela Kell, a wealthy socialite portrayed by the legendary Julianne Moore. This dark comedy explores the complex dynamics of women, power, and class through the lens of an explosive weekend at The Kells' lavish beach estate.

Netflix has also announced that the accomplished director Nicole Kassell, known for her work in Watchmen and The Americans, will helm the first two episodes and serve as an executive producer of Sirens.

The series Synopsis reads: "Devon (Fahy) suspects that her sister Simone (Alcock) has an unsettling bond with her enigmatic boss, Michaela Kell (Moore), a wealthy socialite. Michaela's cult-like life of indulgence is an alluring drug to Simone, and Devon decides it's time for an intervention. As Devon confronts her sister, she's unaware of the formidable force Michaela truly is. Unfolding over a weekend of explosive revelations at The Kells' opulent beach residence, Sirens offers a poignant, sexy, and humorously dark examination of women's roles, power struggles, and social hierarchies."

The miniseries is based on Metzler's play, Elemeno Pea, which she penned during her Juilliard days. Sirens marks the first collaboration between Metzler and Netflix, following the triumph of Maid, which garnered impressive viewership and three Emmy nominations.

Moore, fresh from her appearance in the Starz drama Mary and George opposite Nicholas Galitzine, and her role in Netflix's 2023 movie May December, joins the cast. Fahy, who garnered an Emmy nomination for her portrayal in The White Lotus' second season on HBO, will also star alongside Nicole Kidman and Dakota Fanning in Netflix's upcoming series The Perfect Couple. Alcock is renowned for her portrayal of the young Rhaenyra in the first season of House of the Dragon.

Metzler and Kassell will serve as executive producers alongside LuckyChap's Dani Gorin, Tom Ackerley, and Margot Robbie, ensuring that Sirens will be a compelling and thought-provoking addition to the Netflix lineup.
