Justin Baldoni made a dramatic entrance at Blake Lively's deposition, amidst a legal battle that has taken a captivating turn. The 37-year-old actress, who has been entangled in a web of lawsuits since December 2024, was granted a protective order by Judge Lewis J. Liman, empowering her to select the location for the deposition.
According to TMZ, Baldoni personally attended the deposition, while Lively, from the confines of her attorneys' office in New York City on Thursday, July 31st, responded to inquiries. Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, previously offered an insightful peek into his strategy for the deposition in June.
He revealed to the outlet, "I intend to ask her questions under oath, compelling her to produce evidence and to speak the truth about the incidents in question. We'll assess the consistency of her testimony with the actual events that transpired." During the same interview, he emphasized that Baldoni is someone who "craves vindication and nothing else."
"He is fully aware of his actions and inactions. He yearns for the truth to surface and intends to achieve this in the proper manner. He eagerly awaits his day in court, where he can voice the truth," Freedman added.
For those unfamiliar, the trial is slated for March 2026, with both parties expressing their intentions to testify.
