Chris Brown must be experiencing a touch of solace amidst his solitude. Following his arrest and subsequent charge of intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm stemming from a London nightclub brawl, the soulful crooner of "Forever" received a heartfelt welcome-back message from Justin Bieber just a week later. On May 22, Bieber commented on Brown's Instagram post, which captured the 36-year-old disembarking from a private jet with the caption, "Cook, remain humble." Bieber's words, "Welcome home," served as a beacon of support.

According to NBC News, Bieber wasn't the sole celebrity to lend their voice in solidarity after Brown's release on a $6.7 million bail following a hearing on May 21. Rapper Sexxy Red echoed sentiments in the comments section, proclaiming, "They freed my man," while musician Austin Mahone added a fax machine emoji, a digital shorthand often used in place of the word "facts."

On May 15, Brown found himself in handcuffs at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, accused of hurling a tequila bottle at music producer Abe Diaw amidst a chaotic altercation at a nightclub back in February 19, 2023. Diaw claimed that Brown not only struck him with the bottle but also punched and kicked him relentlessly. "He hit me over the head two or three times," Diaw alleged in an interview with The Sun on May 15, adding, "My knee even collapsed."

The gravity of the charge, grievous bodily harm with intent, carries a potential lifelong prison sentence, as per the Crown Prosecution Service. As of NBC News's reporting, Brown had yet to enter a plea.

Undeterred by his legal woes, the artist behind the hit "Don't Wake Me Up" has a packed European tour lined up, starting with a gig in Amsterdam on June 8. He is scheduled to kick off the U.K. stretch of his Breezy Bowl XX World Tour on June 15, mere days after his trial is set to commence in London.

E! News reached out to Brown's representatives for comment regarding his arrest but received no response.
