Justin Timberlake has been compelled to call off the grand finale of his tour. Mere hours before he was set to enchant fans with his final performance of the North American leg of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, the 44-year-old crooner, famous for his hit "SexyBack," announced via Instagram on Thursday, February 27th, that health issues had necessitated the cancellation. "My heart is shattered, friends," he confessed. "I regret to inform you that tonight's show must be canceled."

Timberlake elaborated that he had arrived at the venue in Columbus, Ohio, battling the flu, which had ultimately overpowered him. "It tears me apart to let you down and to disappoint my team who have tirelessly worked to make this magical evening a reality," he said. "Please know that refunds for your tickets will be processed. My love for each and every one of you remains undiminished," he concluded, leaving no further details in his post.

His fans, understanding the gravity of the situation, offered words of support. One commented, "I flew in from California, but your health comes first. True fans understand. Love you. Get well soon."

The Thursday show, meant to mark the conclusion of his American tour, had previously been postponed in late October due to Timberlake being diagnosed with bronchitis and laryngitis. At the time, he had shared an Instagram update, captioning it, "Hey everyone - I haven't been feeling well during the last few performances, and it turns out I have bronchitis and laryngitis. I'm genuinely sorry to announce that I need to reschedule the next few shows from October 23rd through November 2nd. New dates are listed above. Thank you for your understanding - I promise to make it up to you - JT."

Timberlake had unveiled his Forget Tomorrow World Tour during a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January 2024, where he also released his single "Selfish" and revealed the title of his album, Everything I Thought It Was, six years after his 2018 album, Man in the Woods.

The world tour commenced on April 29th, 2024, in Vancouver. On Wednesday, Timberlake posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, reflecting on the tour's journey thus far. "Just one more show to go... and I want to take a moment to shout out this incredible tour family. These are the individuals who keep the whole show on the road," he captioned a post. "You might not see everyone on stage, but without each person in this picture, none of this would be possible. So much love. Let's make it memorable ONE MORE TIME tomorrow night in Columbus."

Timberlake's Forget Tomorrow World Tour resumes on March 21st in Buenos Aires and concludes in Paris on July 20th. In between, he is scheduled to perform at BottleRock Napa Valley in Napa, California, on May 24th.
