Kanye West is unveiling the muse behind his forthcoming album title in an intriguing revelation. The 47-year-old rapper, known for his hit "Carnival," recently engaged in an insightful conversation with fellow rapper Justin Laboy, 33, delving into the details of his upcoming album, his creative journey, and more. During this enlightening interview, West disclosed how his 9-year-old son Saint, whom he shares with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, 44, served as the inspiration for the project's title.
"My son [Saint] was playing with another child when he suddenly kicked him," West recounted to Laboy. "When I inquired why he did it, he responded, 'Because he's weak.' I thought to myself, 'This kid is truly a little bully.'"
Scheduled for release on his daughter North's birthday, this album marks West's first release in over three years. Throughout his decade-long relationship with Kardashian, the couple welcomed four children together: Psalm, 5, Chicago, 7, Saint, and North, 11.
Kardashian, the co-founder of SKIMS, has been candid about her co-parenting journey with West. In an interview with Vogue in February 2022, she advised, "Always be your co-parent's biggest supporter, regardless of your personal struggles."
Despite their separation, West maintains a strong bond with his children. In September, the 47-year-old rapper hosted a listening party for his album Vultures 2 at the Wuyuan River Sports Stadium in Hainan, China. Midway through his performance, the proud father of four invited his children to join him on stage to perform their song "Everybody."
