Kanye West stands firmly by Sean "Diddy" Combs' side as the Bad Boy Records mogul navigates his federal trial for sex trafficking and racketeering. On June 13, amidst the ongoing proceedings in a Manhattan federal courthouse, the "Runaway" rapper made a grand entrance, arriving just in time to lend his moral support. Captured on video by TMZ, Kanye, who shares his life with children North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, stepped out of his vehicle donned in an impeccable all-white ensemble, making his way into the courthouse with purpose.
Before reaching the security checkpoint, the 48-year-old rapper warmly shook hands with several individuals gathered outside the venue, his presence commanding attention. Kanye's arrival comes on the heels of his appearance with his wife Bianca Censori, whom he married in 2022, at a New York City event the previous day, as reported by TMZ.
This isn't the first instance where Kanye has publicly expressed his unwavering support for Combs amidst his legal woes. Back in February, the "Gold Digger" rapper took to social media, posting a flurry of messages championing his fellow musician. "FREE PUFF," Kanye declared in a since-deleted post on X on February 6. "PUFF WE LOVE YOU." He further alleged that federal authorities were "TRYING TO MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF PUFF."
A month later, Kanye attempted to release a new song featuring Combs, his daughter North, and singer Jasmine Williams. After sharing snippets of the track titled "Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine," Kanye posted alleged screenshots of text messages exchanged between him and his ex, Kim, who claimed to have "sent paperwork over so she wouldn't be in the Diddy song to protect her."
In subsequent, now-deleted posts, Kanye accused Kim of blocking the release of the song due to their daughter's involvement. In other alleged screenshots, Kim emphasized that the former couple had decided to trademark North's name together, stating, "I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she's 18, it goes to her. So stop." The SKIMs founder never publicly addressed the song fiasco, with E! News reaching out to Kim's representatives at the time for comment, to no avail.
