Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Daughter Princess Charlotte Steals the Show at Wimbledon

Princess Charlotte stands as a miniature version of her mother, Kate Middleton. On July 13th, the 10-year-old princess, accompanied by her 11-year-old brother Prince George and their parents Prince William and Kate, donned coordinating royal blue attire to witness the men's final of the Wimbledon Championships. Although Prince Louis, renowned for his lively expressions and playful behavior at royal engagements, had yet to make his Wimbledon debut, Charlotte's expressive face alone was sufficient to steal the spotlight.

Indeed, amidst the gripping tennis match, Charlotte—clad in a charming white sleeveless dress adorned with navy blue trims and ruffles—was snapped with her hands cupping her mouth, her eyes wide in astonishment. Meanwhile, Kate, the Princess of Wales, who dazzled in a stunning short-sleeved royal blue dress featuring a dramatic ruffle on one shoulder, fulfilled her role as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, a title bestowed upon her by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2016, by presenting trophies to the victorious champions.

As Kate made her way to Centre Court to honor the gentlemen's singles final winner, Jannik Sinner, and runner-up, Carlos Alcaraz, a fan couldn't resist shouting, "I love you, Kate!" Though she gracefully chuckled off the comment, she had already been welcomed with a thunderous standing ovation just the previous day as she took her seat alongside tennis legend Billie Jean King. Smiling and waving in response, the 43-year-old—who sported a chic monochromatic ivory ensemble for the women's finals on July 12th—reveled in the crowd's continuous cheers and applause.

Kate's appearance at Wimbledon came nearly six months after she announced her remission following her cancer diagnosis in March 2024. Recently, she shed light on the challenges she faced post-treatment. "You put on a brave face, a stoic demeanor during treatment," she revealed during a visit to Colchester Hospital in Essex on July 2nd. "Treatment ends, and you think, 'I can move on, get back to normal,' but in reality, the period afterward is incredibly difficult."

"Finding your new normal takes time," she continued, "and it's a rollercoaster ride, not the smooth path you might expect. But the truth is, you encounter tough times."
