Katie Bates and Travis Clark are embarking on a fresh start, more than two months after the Bringing Up Bates star's husband admitted to infidelity in their marriage. The couple reconnected to attend an Easter Sunday church service on April 5, joined by their children.
The family of four posed for a photo, which was shared on Katie's Instagram Stories. She held her 18-month-old son, Harvey, while Travis and she each held hands with their 3-year-old daughter, Hailey. The group was dressed in coordinating pink and blue, with Katie calling Harvey's wide-brimmed hat "my new favorite thing."
The reality star also shared an image from inside the holiday service, along with the message on screen, "Hope everyone had the best Easter Sunday."
Travis, 25, confessed to cheating on his four-year marriage in January - just one day after Katie shared that they had suffered a pregnancy loss. He wrote in an Instagram Stories post at the time that he "repeatedly broke her trust."
Since then, Travis has worked tirelessly to repair his relationship with his wife, sharing his reflections on the impact of his infidelity. "The last couple of months have been humbling," he wrote in a March 3 Instagram post. "A lot of hard work, therapy, time with God... I know I'm not owed anything, but I am desperately fighting for my wife and my family every single day. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for our family."
Similarly, Katie has made efforts to heal her marriage, such as attending what she called a "four-day therapy intensive" in February. "I don't really feel equipped to handle something like this on my own, so getting help feels important," she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time. "I know I can't pour into anything else well if I'm not actually working through this in a healthy way."
Katie acknowledged that she wasn't sure "how much" to share about her journey, but she added, "Thank you for the kindness and grace you've shown me. It truly means a lot."
