In a particularly noteworthy turn of events, KATSEYE's inclusion in the AMAs lineup follows their triumphant performance at Coachella, where they invited the stars of KPop Demon Hunters to join them on stage for a surprise rendition of the Netflix animated film's breakout track, "Golden." The group's festival debut on April 10 left fans in awe as they seamlessly transitioned into the infectious melody, followed by a collaboration with EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami—the singers behind the fictional band HUNTR/X. EJAE eloquently proclaimed to the crowd upon their conclusion: "It’s truly an honor to be performing with KATSEYE, guys!"

Additionally, KATSEYE showcased their brand-new hit "Pinky Up," released just a day prior to their Coachella debut. Their captivating performance at Coachella came amidst news that member Manon Bannerman has taken a step back from the group to prioritize her well-being. In a heartfelt message to fans, the 23-year-old reassured them of her "happiness and health," expressing gratitude for their patience and support. She wrote on Weverse, "Thank you so much for all the love and support you've been sending my way. I'm really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations, and I feel supported. I'm happy and I'm healthy. I'll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me."

With such a promising start and an upcoming performance at the AMAs, KATSEYE is undoubtedly poised to make more waves in the music industry.
