Katy Perry is fully aware of Orlando Bloom's admirers and isn't afraid to call them out, even during her concerts. During her May 17th performance in Las Vegas, the "Hot N Cold" hitmaker playfully confronted a fan who had been sliding into her fiancé's direct messages. She used this encounter as a segway to introduce her 2024 song, "I'm His, He's Mine."
In a fan-captured video shared on Instagram on May 20th, Katy squatted down in front of a concertgoer, admiring their "cute grin" before saying, "I know why you're here." With a playful glint in her eye, the 40-year-old continued, "I know, I know. You've been doing it for months, ever since the residency."
She then accused the fan of attending the concert for ulterior motives, teasing, "You didn't come to see me play." She added, "If you keep DM'ing my man, I'm going to have you removed. Seriously, get your own life."
When the concert attendee attempted to give Katy a gift in response, the former American Idol judge politely declined. "I don't want it," she insisted firmly. "I'm his. Stay away."
While Katy may not trust her fans to stop hitting on Orlando, she knows that the Lord of the Rings actor, whom she got engaged to in 2019, will always have her back. Recently, the "Last Friday Night (TGIF)" singer revealed that Orlando fully supports her on her The Lifetimes Tour, which kicked off in May and marks her first concert tour in seven years.
"I'm preparing to go on this world tour, and he understands that," Katy told E! News in January, ahead of the tour's kickoff. "It's just like when you're prepping to do a movie, and some of the movies he's done are even more physically and mentally intense than any of these tours."
When she's not working towards new milestones in her career, Katy expresses her gratitude for having a family to come home to – Orlando and their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. "It's great to have a family to come home to and a whole identity outside of being 'Katy Perry' and music," she said. "I'm really proud of what I've created, and the time I've had off has been super grounding for me."
