Perry was scheduled to deliver two mesmerizing performances in Mexico on May 1 and 2. However, to the dismay of many, these concerts have been rescinded.

Turning to her Instagram, the 40-year-old musician imparted this heart-wrenching news to her fans, elucidating that the cancellation stemmed from issues pertaining to the venue. According to her narrative, the Arena Guadalajara, the site of her anticipated performances, is still under construction and remains incapable of accommodating the shows.

She penned, "It saddens me deeply to learn that the construction of Arena Guadalajara will not be completed for the scheduled events next week, encompassing my concerts on May 1 and 2." The missive further elaborated, "Last week, I dispatched my team to the Arena, hoping there might be some way to salvage the situation. However, upon their arrival, it was unequivocally clear that the venue was neither ready nor safe to host my performance or an audience. I yearn to rectify this situation, but it transcends my control."

Concurrently, the venue's promoter and proprietor also validated this news through a statement issued by Zignia Live, expressing their apologies to the attendees for the inconvenience caused.
