Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant are embarking on another journey together. The duo, who have been romantically entwined since 2019, have motorcycling etched onto their list of cherished date escapades, as Reeves revealed in an interview with E! News published on February 24th. "We've shared a few motorcycle trips together, and they've been thoroughly enjoyable," said the 60-year-old actor, whose upcoming docuseries 'Visionaries' shines a light on pioneering innovators in the world of motorcycles and beyond. Yet, "since then, we haven't repeated the adventure," continued Reeves, who stars in 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3', clarifying that Grant, 51, had never lost interest. "There's no declaration from her side saying, ‘I'll never ride with you again because you're nuts,'" Reeves shared with the outlet.
When quizzed about the secrets to his robust six-year-long relationship with Grant, Reeves's response was straightforward: "Sharing, communicating, and supporting one another." On the question of who would be the faster rider between them, he pondered, "I'd guess, yeah, she probably would be."
Although they keep their romance under wraps, Reeves and Grant have made red carpet appearances together at art galas, some celebrating Grant's work as a visual artist. Their adventurous dates also include waving the checkered flag at the MotoGP race in Germany last July. "They both put in the hard yards and then savor life's moments together," a source told PEOPLE in April last year. "They're a quintessential normal couple... Both are homebodies who prefer intimate gatherings at home." The insider further revealed that Grant has "never minded" Reeves's long-standing passion for motorcycle riding. "Keanu still owns his custom motorcycle company, ARCH. Motorcycles are a pivotal part of his life," the source added.
In 2023, Grant described their relationship as "interdependent and independent in the finest ways" in an interview with PEOPLE. "The silver lining of falling in love as an adult is that I had already carved out my career by the time our relationship blossomed," she said then. "I stride confidently on the red carpet with him. I stride confidently alone."
'Visionaries', executive produced by Reeves alongside his ARCH co-founder Gard Hollinger, will premiere on Roku on March 7th. Among the actor's upcoming projects are the 'John Wick' spinoff 'Ballerina', starring Ana de Armas (releasing in theaters on June 6th), and the comedy 'Good Fortune', featuring Aziz Ansari (hitting theaters on October 17th).
