"This record, *Flow State*, was truly an unexpected evolution of music," Urban said, his enthusiasm palpable. "It all started when I purchased a new studio in Nashville, and I wanted to break it in by recording a couple of songs. We thought it would be fun to cover some classic yacht rock tracks. I had no intention of releasing it; it was just something we genuinely loved playing."

The album will feature mostly covers of classic yacht rock tracks, along with one original collaboration with Michael McDonald. Urban revealed that the idea came to him organically and effortlessly, much like the music itself.

"We just wanted to do something that we really enjoyed playing," he concluded, his voice filled with the joy of discovery and the thrill of creating something new and exciting in his musical career.
