Travis Kelce is reveling in his role as Taylor Swift's beloved companion! In a pre-recorded interview aired on CBS Mornings on September 5th, the 34-year-old tight end from the Kansas City Chiefs embraced his status as the pop icon's charming sidekick with a grin. "It's the life I've chosen, I suppose," chuckled Kelce, "and I'm thoroughly enjoying every bit of it."

"This comes hand in hand with embracing exciting endeavors like this and signing up for cool collaborations and endorsements," he added, speaking from the backdrop of his Pepsi commercial shoot, a modern take on the brand's iconic 2004 Gladiator-themed ad that once featured Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Pink, and Enrique Iglesias.

Discussing how his family is navigating the spotlight, Kelce revealed that they're all embracing their newfound fame, particularly his mother, Donna Kelce. "Everyone's loving it, especially Mama Kelce who's having a blast," he shared. "Dad's gradually getting more comfortable, and Jason, my retired NFL brother, has always been a natural at this," he added, referring to the 36-year-old former Philadelphia Eagles center.

Travis spent the summer gallivanting with Swift, 34, supporting her record-shattering Eras Tour, even gracing the stage with her during her June 23rd concert at Wembley Stadium in London. When asked to pick a favorite Taylor Swift song, Kelce's response was effusive. "Oh, there are so many! Literally, every single one is my favorite. You'll see me singing along to them all at her concerts," he told CBS Mornings.

Delving deeper, Kelce opened up about why he believes "people are rooting for him." "I hope it's because they see me as a genuinely good person who loves what I do and cherishes the people I do it with," he said. "I'd much rather spread joy and give people something to cheer about than anything else."

Earlier this month, Travis confirmed that Swift has been crafting plays for him, a revelation first teased by his teammate Patrick Mahomes. During an appearance on the Rich Eisen Show on September 3rd, Kelce quipped, "She's a bit biased and just whips up plays for me. We'll see if they make their way to Coach Reid's desk." He continued, "She's been eager to learn about the game, even though she wasn't too familiar with the rules initially. I think she was just curious about the profession. None of her plays have reached Coach Reid yet, but if they do, you'll be the first to know it's her masterpiece."

The couple first sparked dating rumors in September 2023, with Swift attending her first Chiefs game shortly after. They officially confirmed their romance the following month, holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty.
