Although Kelly hasn't coached a regular season in three years, the 44-year-old did serve as a judge on the special season 29—dubbed The Voice: Battle Of Champions—alongside Adam and John Legend. The landmark season, which premiered on February 23rd, debuted an updated format with more twists—like a Triple Turn Competition and Super Steals—as well as visits from guest judges like CeeLo Green.
After Team Adam took home the grand prize on Champions, he’s returning again for season 30 to try to continue his winning streak. "I will be back," the Maroon 5 singer revealed to People in April.
