She maintains that this scene was never a topic of discussion, was absent from the script, and left her reeling in shock and complete disarray.
Nonetheless, Costner's attorney has categorically rejected the sexual harassment claim against the actor, branding it as groundless and false. The official statement reads, "Ms. LaBella was merely rehearsing for an insert shot pertaining to a scripted scene. There was absolutely no intimacy or sexual content involved in the shoot." It further elucidates, "There was a mere tugging of a dress while she remained fully attired in a dress accompanied by long bloomers, lying beside a male actor."
Moreover, Costner's lawyer contends that subsequent to completing her role, LaBella expressed gratitude to her supervisor and deemed the experience as "wonderful," casting doubt on her motive for coming forward at this juncture. The legal counsel proceeds, "Multiple witnesses have refuted Ms. LaBella's unfounded assertions."
