Khloe Kardashian candidly shared how her divorce from Lamar Odom reshaped her perspective on leading a healthy lifestyle. In a recent episode of her podcast, "Khloé in Wonder Land," the TV personality revealed that she used to be a stress eater.

"When I was younger, I was a binge eater. I sought therapy for it. Food was my go-to for any emotional turmoil, and there was no stopping me. I would eat and eat until I literally got sick, and then I'd feel disgusted with myself for how much I'd consumed," she recalled.

Khloe revealed that her "divorce was really the catalyst" that made her obsessed with working out in a healthy way.

"I realized during my marriage that I ate so much and I used food to cope with my feelings, and I didn't like how that made me feel," she explained.

However, even after months of diet and exercise, Khloe confessed that she used to feel "insecure."

"I would say the first six months to a year were uncomfortable because you feel like you're still insecure," Khloe noted. "You're busting your ass in the gym, but you're not really seeing a big shift on the scale. But you have to keep going."

What kept her going, Khloe revealed, was her mental strength. "For me, it was the mental aspect that kept me going. I loved how I felt. I felt so accomplished that I did something I set out to do. But for me, it was baby steps."

"You're eating healthy, you're exercising. I honestly feel that the more you exercise, the clearer your mind will feel and the stronger you will feel mentally. If you can, going to therapy is so helpful. I know it did wonders for me," she added.
