"It was your birthday, and though you preferred to keep it low-key, I still wish you a joyous Heavenly Birthday, Lindz," Kardashian penned on Instagram, accompanying the post with an array of snapshots depicting herself and her tight-knit group of friends by a serene lake. "I hesitated for months to share these, struggling to find the perfect words. Nothing can truly encapsulate the profound silence and emptiness our lives have felt in your absence. I'm aware you might have been amused by my posting, especially since you weren't a social media person yourself, but this lake trip was filled with your presence in every corner, and I needed to immortalize it."
"The lake was your sanctuary, a place that brought you peace and vitality, where you could truly be yourself," she continued. "It has become our cherished annual tradition, where we bond with our children, savoring quality time together, untouched by outside distractions. This year, your absence was keenly felt in every sunset, every burst of laughter, and every peaceful moment."

On June 17th, Kardashian had first announced May's passing via her Instagram Story, as reported by E! News. Their mutual friend, Simone Harouche, had also paid tribute to May in January.
"My world came to a halt on November 2nd. You took a piece of me with you, but thankfully, I managed to carry a piece of you with me," Harouche wrote on Instagram. "A breathtaking sunset now holds a new significance. I reminisced about our 90s adventures, our beautiful journeys, and the countless family moments. I embraced more opportunities and experienced firsthand the power of community—a cliché, yet undeniably true.
"I often felt like I was in a trance, yet profoundly grateful for each fleeting moment of life—another cliché, yet deeply accurate," Harouche added. "You are forever with me, a constant presence in my heart."
