The doctor's explanation for the detected aneurysm is revealed as "Just stress," suggesting that the SKIMS founder is dealing with a considerable amount of stress in her life. Footage shows her crying over her struggles with her bar exam for law school. However, after revealing the aneurysm, the clip transitions to a tearful Kim discussing her divorce from Kanye "Ye" West, the father of her four children. "I'm happy it's over," she says. "My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together." She is then seen sitting at a table, declaring, "Last night I was like, 'Why the f---- is this happening?'"

According to the Mayo Clinic, a brain aneurysm is described as "a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain." The clinic further explains that brain aneurysms are common but most are not serious, especially if they are small. "If the brain aneurysm leaks or ruptures, it causes bleeding in the brain, known as a hemorrhagic stroke," they add.

Kim has long documented her struggles with Ye on her show. In the season 7 premiere of The Kardashians, she revealed that her skin condition, psoriasis, had recently flared up due to stress. "I haven't had psoriasis since I got divorced, and it just started coming back," she said. She felt "pretty tested" by West, whom she married in 2014 and divorced in 2021. "I mean, I have psoriasis again," she said, using it as a way to prove how she's doing. "I felt more stressed, probably just because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect."

Kim is particularly focused on protecting their kids - North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6 - revealing that recently one of them heard about some of their dad's behavior. "They're gonna know things," she said. "They're gonna grow up, they're gonna see. So my job as a mom is to just make sure that - at a time when that behavior is happening - is just to make sure that they're protected."

Reflecting on her relationship with West, she notes, "I always felt really bad and always protected and always wanted to help [him]," revealing that she would think to herself, "I should've stuck it out" or "I could've helped," but "this was the first time I didn't feel that responsibility personally." She adds with emotion, "It is so f------ sad."
