Amidst the tempest of life, Kim Kardashian may exude an unwavering calmness—but even she has her limits. On the November 27th episode of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old braved a brain scan with Scott Disick, following a Prenuvo scan that had revealed a small aneurysm in her brain. During their conversation, Disick, 42, offered a compassionate nod to her ex-husband Kanye West, 48, whose antics he had observed: "By the way, I'm sorry about all that you're going through. It looks stressful."

Kim's response was a poignant confession of her current stance with the rapper. "It is hard," she said, her voice laden with the weight of her struggles. Producers in a confessional segment remarked on West's "very loud outbursts," and Kim added, "I just can't really engage. I think it's for the better."

Kim further elaborated on the state of her relationship with her ex-husband, with whom she shares four children—North, 12; Saint, 9; Chicago, 7; and Psalm, 6. She revealed that despite the rapper's public posts claiming otherwise, he "never once called" her. "I mean, I always encourage a relationship, but a healthy one," she said, adding that his erratic behavior has called into question her role as a mother. "Sometimes I just feel like snapping, but I can't. I just can't."

In a heartfelt confessional, Kim emphasized that her sole focus and mission is to be strong for her children. She has been candid about her fraught relationship with West during this season of The Kardashians, sharing that she "always felt like I had a bit of Stockholm syndrome" with him and that their current state is "f------ sad."

The stress related to her ex's outbursts had also taken a toll on Kim's health, as she revealed on the show that her psoriasis had returned. "I was pretty tested, I will say. Very tested," she said. "I mean, I have psoriasis again."

As the founder of SKIMS, Kim had always been able to shield her kids from their father's behavior. But this was the first time one of her children—presumably North—had "known what was happening." She expressed her deep concern for their well-being: "My poor kids. Everyone around can handle it, but like… protect my babies. They’re gonna know things. They’re gonna grow up. They’re gonna see. So my job as a mom is to just make sure that at a time when that behavior is happening, they are protected."
