Kim Kardashian has ignited a storm of online outrage by striking seductive poses with a Tesla robot and aboard a Cybertruck in a recent photoshoot. Her fans have lambasted her for the session, accusing her of being tone-deaf amidst the Elon Musk-owned company's recent turmoil. This uproar follows Kim's recent hint about tying the knot for a fourth time, after confessing to being "secretly" in a relationship. Musk's Tesla products have garnered immense popularity among Hollywood elite, with Kardashian, the founder of SKIMS, emerging as one of its most ardent admirers. On Friday evening, the reality TV star took to her Instagram to share captivating snapshots from her recent photoshoot for Perfect Magazine.
In these images, Kardashian could be seen striking poses in the back of a Tesla Cybertruck, while in others, she embraced a Tesla robot with palpable chemistry. One particular picture that has sparked widespread chatter depicts the mother of four lying on a mattress beside the ocean, entwined in an embrace with the Tesla robot. Kardashian rested her head on its chest, with one leg draped over it, as she cuddled up to the robot, her derriere prominently displayed. She captioned the photos with the magazine's name and tagged the photographer, Steven Klein.
On social media, Kardashian faced a deluge of criticism from her fans, who questioned the rationale behind the shoot. One fan wrote, "Bizarre. I thought you cared about civil rights, which is why you enrolled in law school. Guess it wasn't that serious after all." Another commented, "Money always finds Kim Kardashian," while a third remarked, "This is so embarrassing for your life and soul."
On Musk's X platform, the criticism was even harsher. One user wrote, "This billionaire is going mad right now. After all these years and kids, she's still flashing her butt for attention and hinting at a sexaroid dystopia. Please, Jesus, make it stop." Another shaded Kardashian, saying, "I can't believe it's come to this... even Kim can't find a decent man to be with." Another X user penned, "This reminds me of that post predicting women will have sex with robots by 2025." Another fan added, "She's nearing 50... embarrassing."
Long a fan of Tesla, Kardashian is often spotted driving her customized vehicles, including the Cybertruck. Once, she even had a minor brush with the law while cruising down the Pacific Coast Highway in her Cybertruck.
According to TMZ, the reality TV star was halted by the authorities because her front windshield tint was excessively dark, breaking California's stringent vehicle regulations. The mother of four reportedly received a citation requiring her to rectify the violation. This isn't the first time Kardashian has faced such an issue; she was previously warned by the Calabasas police for the same offense in 2013.
Meanwhile, Kardashian has subtly hinted at her intentions to tie the knot once more, despite having been married three times before. During a recent episode of her show, "The Kardashians," the entrepreneur confessed that she might marry for a "fourth" time, following her admission of being "secretly" in a relationship. Kardashian's ex-husbands include Damon Thomas, Kris Humphries, and Kanye West.
This conversation arose as she attended the July 2024 wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai, India, along with her sister Khloe. While there, she pondered over the design of her engagement ring for her supposed final marriage. "I wonder what my next ring shape will be?" Kardashian pondered, as quoted by the Daily Mail. "For my last and final hurrah," she added.
Earlier in January, she had admitted on the show that she was "secretly" seeing someone. However, it remains unclear whether she's seriously contemplating marriage or merely harboring hopeful thoughts.
Elsewhere in the show, the former "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star reminisced about her various engagement rings and disclosed which ex-husband demanded the return of one after their divorce. "The first one was a cushion-cut, 14-karat diamond," she said of the ring Thomas had given her. "I still have it," she added fondly.
Her second ring, an 18-karat emerald-cut diamond from Lorraine Schwartz, was reportedly valued at around $2 million. However, she couldn't retain it as Humphries insisted she hand it back before finalizing their 72-day marriage. "I didn't keep that ring," she revealed on the show. "I was pregnant with North and still married to him. To secure a divorce, he insisted that I return the ring I had bought—he had only contributed a fifth of its cost," she explained.
Kardashian's third ring, from West, was also a cushion-cut diamond. "That was the only piece of jewelry I owned that I didn't take to Paris," she noted, referring to the infamous robbery she experienced at her hotel in 2016. Since then, she has refrained from wearing her valuable jewels in public.
Kardashian also stated that she plans to keep the ring for her eldest daughter, North, as she was present during the engagement proposal.
