Brandon Barash, an actor from "Days of Our Lives," has filed for an emergency restraining order against his ex-wife, Kirsten Storms. A judge granted Barash's request and concurred that the "General Hospital" actress is in a "mental health crisis," as per court documents obtained by PEOPLE. Additionally, Barash, 44, requested that Storms, 42, undergo a mental health evaluation.

The former couple tied the knot in 2013 and welcomed their first child together five months later. They announced their divorce in 2016. Both moved to Tennessee separately; Storms disclosed her move in July 2025.

Barash's filing, which he initially submitted to the court in December 2025, follows months after Storms contacted him in May 2025, allegedly stating she was "experiencing delusions and hallucinations," per Barash's petition. He claims she expressed concerns about not being fit to spend time with their daughter, Harper Rose, who is 12 years old. Barash alleges that his current wife, Isabella, helped Storms get hospitalized, where she was placed on a psychiatric hold, according to the petition, although Storms did not acknowledge the incident afterward.

The actor further alleges that a friend of the "Zenon" actress told him about her "repeated episodes of emotional breakdowns, being triggered, and hearing things/voices that weren't there." He adds that the same friend believes the actress is abusing Adderall and other substances.

Barash also claims that in recent years, Storms has been living in hotels or staying with friends and did not have a permanent home between September 2024 and June 2025. She claimed that people were "following her and the child to her room." Later, she moved into an apartment and told Barash in November 2025 that people were breaking into her apartment, removing things, and placing them in her car to "mess with her."

Barash further alleges that he loaned her $5,000, her car is about to be repossessed, and her landlord has sued her for eviction, according to the petition. He expresses concern about her "financial issues" affecting her ability to adequately care for their daughter. She has been allowed supervised visitation with Harper Rose.

Storms shared an Instagram post in October 2025 announcing that she was diagnosed with an aneurysm on the right side of her brain. In December 2025, she shared on Instagram that she was postponing brain surgery to remove the aneurysm because "it's not at the mandatory surgery size." Her neurosurgeon made this discovery during a follow-up scan for a cyst she had removed from her brain in 2021. She had a "very large cyst that had split into two" removed from the lower part of her brain, which had been causing frequent pain.

Additionally, in recent weeks, she has posted on her Instagram account claiming that someone is trying to break into her apartment and that someone is attempting to hack her cellphone.
