Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Celebrate Son Rocky's 2nd Birthday With Heartfelt Tributes

Published: Nov 03 2025

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are drowning in a sea of sentiments as they celebrate their son, Rocky Thirteen Barker's second birthday. The Blink-182 drummer took to Instagram on November 1st to pour his heart out in a touching tribute to his youngest child. "Happy Birthday my Rocky 13," Travis, 49, wrote, accompanied by a black heart emoji. "You're such a special soul, and you make every day brighter. I love you. No one's cooler."

Alongside the heartfelt message, Travis, who also shares kids Atiana De La Hoya, 26, Landon Barker, 22, and Alabama Barker, 19, with ex-partner Shanna Moakler, posted a photo of the toddler adorned in a "13" tank top and baggy beige pants, with a backwards hat, strolling with his back turned to the camera.

The occasion proved to be emotionally charged for Kourtney as well—the mother of Mason Disick, 15, Penelope Disick, 13, and Reign Disick, 10, with ex-partner Scott Disick—as she commented on Travis' post with a simple puppy dog eyes emoji. The 46-year-old also shared the post on her Instagram Stories, conveying her feelings with the same symbol.

Other members of the Kardashian clan also joined in celebrating Rocky's latest milestone. His grandmother Kris Jenner commented on Travis' post with a series of drum emojis, while Kourtney's sister Khloe Kardashian left a sweet comment of her own, writing, "Happy birthday to the cutest!!!!! Rocky!!!!!!!".

While Kourtney and Travis—who tied the knot in 2022—acknowledged the happy occasion on social media, they've been selective about how much they share of Rocky's young life. "We'd rather keep him out of the spotlight," Travis told the Wall Street Journal in September 2024, adding that he would've lived by a similar mantra with his older kids in hindsight. "I think it's weird to grow up and you're 15 or 12 and you're like, 'Mom, you posted this of me?'" Similarly, Kourtney has noted that her children would rather not be featured on her online platforms. "I want my kids to be kids," she said on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast in October 2022. "I crave normalcy as much as we can have it."
