The narrative follows Gabby and her grandmother Gigi, portrayed by the legendary Gloria Estefan, as they embark on a road trip to the enigmatic urban wonderland of Cat Francisco. However, their journey takes a surprising turn when Gabby's beloved dollhouse falls into the clutches of the offbeat feline enthusiast Vera, played with relish by Wiig. With her magical cat ears adorned, Gabby, joined by Grandma Gigi as her steadfast ally, sets out on a daring mission to rescue the dollhouse before it's too late.

"This dollhouse will complete my cat collections," Vera hisses sinisterly at one point in the trailer, as she speeds away with Gabby's cherished possession. Penned by Crego alongside Melanie Wilson LaBracio and Adam Wilson, the film brings animated counterparts to the live-action characters, immersing viewers in the whimsical animated realm populated by an array of feline characters that inhabit Gabby's dollhouse.

Produced by Steven Schweickart, whose credits include "How to Train Your Dragon," "The Croods," and "Kung Fu Panda 4," "Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie" is executive produced by Jennifer Twomey and Traci Paige Johnson, the creative minds behind the popular Netflix series. The series follows a tween who, upon unboxing various items, harnesses her magical abilities to shrink down and embark on miniature adventures within an animated version of her dollhouse alongside her loyal feline friends, the Gabby Cats.
