Already, Gaga has a serendipitous tie to "Wednesday": a remix of her song "Bloody Mary" became an unexpected viral sensation when it was overlaid on Jenna Ortega's dance scene in season one. This captivating fusion took TikTok and other social platforms by storm following the show's 2022 debut.

Gaga joins a stellar ensemble of newcomers for season two, which boasts Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor as series regulars, alongside guest stars such as Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo.

Fresh from her role in "Joker: Folie à Deux," Gaga's television and film resume includes "A Star Is Born," where she garnered an Oscar for Best Original Song and was nominated for Best Actress, as well as "House of Gucci" and two seasons of FX's chilling "American Horror Story."

In September, Netflix unveiled a tantalizing behind-the-scenes video of season two's production, which concluded with Ortega's intriguing voiceover: "If we showed you any more, your eyes would bleed, and I'm not that generous." Alongside Ortega, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Fred Armisen, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo are all set to reprise their roles as Wednesday continues her enigmatic journey at Nevermore Academy.

To date, season one of "Wednesday" stands as Netflix's most popular English-language TV series, measured by views (total viewing hours divided by running time) in its first 13 weeks of release. Season one was executive produced by creators and showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar, alongside Tim Burton (who directed four episodes), Steve Stark, Andrew Mittman, Gail Berman, Kayla Alpert, Jonathan Glickman, Tommy Harper, Kevin Lafferty, and Kevin Miserocchi. Ortega herself takes on a producer role for season two.
