On the 10th death anniversary of Alan Rickman, his wife, Rima Horton, is working with Pancreatic Cancer UK, a charity organization that raises funds for people affected by pancreatic cancer. In an interview with BBC Morning, Horton promoted the cause and paid a touching tribute to her late husband.

During their conversation, Horton shared that while people affected by this cancer generally have only three months to live, her beloved Harry Potter star was able to live for six months because of chemotherapy. Speaking about his untimely death, she said, "He had so much more to give. There were so many more things he could have done."

Sadly, the Die Hard actor passed away on January 14, 2016, in their London home. Now, Horton aims to work with the organization to raise funds to develop a breathalyzer test that could help doctors detect cancer while it is still in an early stage. She emphasized that by the time doctors could confirm the cancer, it would be too late, making it nearly impossible to treat it. Therefore, a breath test like this could give affected people an opportunity to fight it.
