It is reported that Leonardo DiCaprio has taken a self-imposed exile, fearing that a single misstep could jeopardize his illustrious career. Insiders, speaking to Radar Online, revealed that the Titanic star has adopted a Howard Hughes-esque lifestyle. The source elaborated, "While Leo is now settled with his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, he still loves to party with his pals. He hasn't done anything wrong, but he now harbors a genuine fear of being filmed and said something inappropriate that could be misconstrued."

The insider further stated that DiCaprio "hates" the current cancel culture and its repercussions on his peers. "He detests the cancel culture and what it has done to some of his colleagues, and he is now doing everything in his power to minimize any risk of being caught in a trap, such as being secretly filmed at a party sharing controversial views or stories that don't align with the 'woke' culture," the source said. "It's the sad impact of cancel culture, but it's one he must accept out of a justifiable paranoia that comes with his status and level of fame. He feels he has to literally sink himself into reclusiveness."
According to the insider, DiCaprio is "far too valuable to the box office to be cancelled," hence "it's as much about his career and business as it is about maintaining his personal brand and avoiding scandal."
On the professional front, Leonardo DiCaprio is set to work on Martin Scorsese's What Happens at Night, with production scheduled to commence in January 2026. He has also confirmed his role in Michael Mann's Heat 2.
