"I deeply regret my harsh words directed at Katy Perry last week," she admitted in the April 28th episode of her podcast, Miss Me?, as reported by Us Weekly. "I realize now that there was absolutely no need to drag her name into this, and it was a manifestation of my own internalized sexism."

She was merely the most renowned and polarizing figure involved. There was something within me that improperly singled her out... regardless, I am genuinely sorry."

Acknowledging that Katy might not tune into her podcast, Lily nonetheless addressed her directly, imbuing her words with empathy. "If the tables were turned, and someone in my industry exploited my name in a similar manner, I would feel devastated," she confessed. "I'm sorry, Katy Perry."
