Lindsie Chrisley is brimming with positivity. After President Donald Trump granted full pardons to her estranged father, Todd Chrisley, and stepmother, Julie Chrisley, for their 2022 convictions of tax fraud and evasion, the 35-year-old took to social media with an encouraging message. On May 27, across a pristine white backdrop on her Instagram Stories, Lindsie penned, as reported by People, "With God, all things are possible," accompanied by a heartfelt red heart emoji.
Prior to her optimistic words, the reality TV star had been open about her ongoing estrangement from her father, Todd, who shares son Kyle, 33, with ex-partner Teresa Terry, and children Chase, 28, Savannah, 27, and Grayson, 19, with Julie. In fact, during a March 19 episode of her 'Southern Tea' podcast, Lindsie candidly admitted she "couldn't recall" the last time she visited her father during his prison term, which commenced in 2023 and was most recently expected to conclude in 2032. "I haven't seen my dad in quite some time, and I've had no contact," she revealed, leaving it at that.
And Lindsie isn't the only Chrisley offspring with a tumultuous relationship with the patriarch, who also has custody of his 11-year-old granddaughter Chloe with Julie. In June 2024, her brother Kyle disclosed that he hadn't spoken to Todd in over a year. "I don't really know why, but he hasn't responded to my emails, and he doesn't call," he confided to InTouch. "I was actually planning to attend the hearing, but I was informed that my dad didn't want me there. I even heard they might have me 'escorted out' if I showed up."
Even so, upon learning of the pardon granted to Todd and Julie, Kyle couldn't suppress his excitement. He enthusiastically shared with E! News, "I'm thrilled. Absolutely thrilled. I just got the news and I'm still in disbelief." As their impending return home loomed on the horizon, set for May 28th, Kyle expressed his openness to reconnecting with them. "I understand their eagerness to return and reunite with their families," he added. "I'll remain optimistic, believing that reconciliation between us is within reach."
