Let's give a shoutout to Perrie Edwards for being a mom of two! The Little Mix alum has announced the arrival of their second baby, Alanis Valentine, with fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, in a heartwarming social media post.
In the sweet snapshot, Alanis can be seen cuddled up on her mom's chest, with Perrie, Alex, and their 4-year-old son Axel all placing loving hands on the little one's back. The caption, accompanied by a pink heart emoji, simply reads, "Alanis Valentine."
The couple, who got engaged in June 2022, revealed that they would be expanding their family back in September. In a video shared to Instagram on Sept. 6, the 32-year-old wore a shirt that read, "If He Wanted To He Would…" on the back. She then turned around to reveal her growing baby bump and the front of her shirt, which read, "…and He Did!"

The adorable announcement came less than a month after the "Shout Out to My Ex" hitmaker shared that she experienced a pregnancy loss just a few months after welcoming Axel in 2021. "Axel wasn't even walking yet and we were pregnant," Perrie said on the We Need to Talk podcast in August 2025. "I found out when I was rehearsing for the Little Mix tour. I was at rehearsals and I thought, 'Oh I don't feel good.' Every symptom under the sun so I was like, 'I think I'm pregnant.'"
After confirming her hunch with a pregnancy test, Perrie and Alex couldn't have been happier to expand their family. But after she and fellow bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall hit the road in April 2022, the X Factor alum started to feel like something was off. "Every night before a show, I kept bleeding," she recalled. "I remember sitting and thinking, 'This is it, I've lost the baby.'"
Even as doctors continued to reassure Perrie that her baby was doing well, the situation took a turn when she went in for a scan at the 20-week mark. "That was just the worst day of my life, like horrendous," Perrie—who had also experienced a miscarriage prior to her pregnancy with Axel—recalled. "I just knew something was wrong in the scan."
"I was just traumatized," she continued, noting that she couldn't even drive home from the appointment because she was crying so hard. "I think when you're fully carrying and you're 24 weeks and you've planned out like their room and all these things, it's really hard."
