"Our world has crumbled," Kieffer began her heartfelt message. "On Wednesday, we awoke to a nightmare that was beyond our wildest imaginations. Our precious Lily has left us." She continued, "Our hearts, bodies, and souls are overwhelmed with grief, as she was the purest soul who illuminated every corner she touched. In her 374 days of life, Lily taught us more than many could in an entire lifetime."

Although Kieffer and her husband, Matt, are still grappling with many unknowns regarding their daughter's demise, doctors have revealed that Lily had a large brain tumor. "We have come to learn that Lily had a substantial mass in her brain, one that we could never have detected as she showed no signs," Kieffer shared. "We won't have more answers for months until further tests are conducted."

The Missouri-based influencer also expressed how her faith has been a crucial pillar of support for her and her husband amidst this trying time. "...We don't have the answers, nor do we comprehend why this is God's plan for our lives. We may never fully grasp this mystery until we reunite with her one day. However, we know that God is steadfast and brings light to the darkest places," she penned. "Lily is now cradled in the arms of Jesus and our loved ones in heaven, perhaps playing in her ball pit or driving her little red car up there. We can feel her presence."

Kieffer humbly requested prayers and patience for her business as her family navigates this devastating loss. "Our family and friends are our pillars of strength when we feel unable to move forward. Please know that we deeply feel your prayers and support. We sense God's presence enveloping our family and friends," she added. "We implore you to continue praying fervently for our family as we traverse this incredibly challenging period."

Addressing her daughter directly, Kieffer wrote, "You will forever be etched in our hearts. Although the void will never be filled, your name will echo through our days, bringing joy to our moments." She further added, "You are our guiding light in this darkness, and we know God holds you in a special place."

Earlier, on March 2nd, Kieffer had joyously announced her pregnancy with a third child, expected in September 2025. The couple is also blessed with an older daughter, Mia.

In Lily's obituary, the couple fondly remembered the 12-month-old, stating that she "adored" her big sister, whose actions captivated her. "She wrapped her tiny hands around her mother's heart with an unspeakable bond and was her father's little princess, finding endless comfort and joy in his arms," the obituary read. "Her days were filled with laughter and play—her favorite moments included climbing into the ball pit, eagerly climbing stairs with a giggle, or riding in her little red car alongside Mia, sharing simple, perfect happiness."

Lily is survived by her parents, her sister, and four grandparents. The obituary announced a visitation service on Tuesday, April 29th, and a funeral mass on Wednesday, April 30th.
