"I had a friends-to-lovers trope," Lizzo, 37, shared on Jake Shane's Therapuss podcast in May. "We both worked on this TV show for MTV. I was the music girl, he was the comedy guy, and I was like, 'He's my best friend.'" After years of friendship, they officially started dating and waited a year to share their relationship publicly. Lizzo's love for Myke wasn't a sudden fling but a slow burn that she cherishes. "I was like, 'Wow I can really talk to him,'" she explained. "We had this crazy bond for years, and I do love that we were friends first. That means we can talk about anything."
