Lizzo is making a resounding comeback in the music scene, this time with a louder and bolder style, announcing her third studio album, "Bitch." The announcement comes as the chart-topping artist turns 38, and the album will be released on June 5.

In her unapologetic style, she boldly declares that the album was inspired by the iconic song of the same name by Meredith Brooks. "Reclaiming the word 'bitch' is power," she states, owning what she says was once an insult. "It's taking a label once used to diminish women and turning it into a declaration of confidence and unapologetic self-love."

Lizzo, however, clarifies that she is not the first female artist to embrace the term as a badge of honor. "So many incredible women in music have used the word for positivity, like Meredith Brooks and Missy Elliot," she notes.

The album's announcement comes after Lizzo released "Don't Make Me Love U" and dominated the Blue Note Jazz Club in Los Angeles and New York with 12 sold-out shows. Not to mention, her electrifying performance at the Houston Rodeo earlier this month was a spectacle for her 70,000 fans. With each step she takes, Lizzo continues to prove that she is unstoppable and undeniably one of the best in the game.
