On March 27, MGK joyously announced the arrival of their baby girl, endearingly describing her as "our little celestial seed." Immediately, some eager fans assumed this to be her actual name, prompting MGK to clarify the matter on Instagram Stories four days later. The 34-year-old rocker, sharing a screenshot of the name speculation, humorously wrote, "Wait guys, her name isn't Celestial Seed." As for when fans can expect the official reveal, MGK added, "Her mom will share the name with you when we're ready." So, it seems we'll have to exercise a bit of patience!
While Megan and MGK are keeping the baby's name a closely guarded secret at present, they did share a unique detail about her arrival. The proud father revealed that he and his close friend Travis Barker had composed a bespoke musical score for the birth. Posting on Instagram Stories on the day of the birth, he wrote, "We composed the score of the birth. What an epic journey. Praise God."
The newborn joins MGK's 15-year-old daughter Casie from a previous relationship, as well as Megan's three children—Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8—whom she shares with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
Speaking of Brian, the blended family encountered a minor hiccup on the big day. When fans inquired about the baby's arrival, MGK's frustration spilled over in a direct message. According to a screenshot later shared (and swiftly deleted) by Brian on his Instagram Stories, MGK wrote, "Stop asking when our child is gonna be born. You chose the wrong one to mess with, mr. child actor. Go back to cereal commercials." However, Brian seemed to take the incident lightly, even adding a touch of humor to the situation. He wrote, tagging the screenshot, "I didn't know 'child actor' was something bad. Leo, careful. He may be coming for you next."
