"When 'Mamma Mia!' premiered on Broadway in 2001, it had already captivated hearts in London and Toronto, and embarked on a sold-out North American tour. Despite the overwhelming applause and adoration we received in those theaters, nothing could have forecast the tidal wave of love, acclaim, and spontaneous dance parties that greeted us upon our arrival in New York at the magnificent Winter Garden Theatre," reminisced creator and producer Judy Craymer. "Last year, 'Mamma Mia!' celebrated 25 years of triumph in the West End, and it's a dream come true to bring the original production back to its Broadway haven after an absence of 24 years.

The show, which also inspired the beloved film starring Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried, currently boasts numerous productions across the globe, encompassing the 25th Anniversary North American tour, an International Tour, and a full-scale production aboard Royal Caribbean International's Allure of the Seas. Casting details for 'Mamma Mia!' on Broadway will be unveiled at a later date.

Following the run of "Good Night and Good Luck," starring George Clooney, which will charm audiences from April 3rd to June 8th, the Winter Garden Theatre will be taken over by this vibrant production. The show boasts music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, a captivating book by Catherine Johnson, direction by Phyllida Lloyd, and exhilarating choreography by Anthony Van Laast. The production is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material, and arrangements by Martin Koch. Get ready to be swept off your feet once again by the magic of 'Mamma Mia!'!"
