According to a complaint, a man who was just 10 years old at the time alleges that Sean "Diddy" Combs sexually assaulted him, and nearly two decades after the alleged abuse, he still grapples with night terrors. The incident, which reportedly took place in 2005, occurred when the plaintiff, an aspiring rapper then aged 10, visited New York with dreams of meeting industry figures. The unnamed plaintiff has filed a lawsuit against Combs in the Supreme Court of New York County.

The complaint, obtained by PEOPLE, reveals that the plaintiff was reportedly taken to Combs' hotel room by a consultant hired by his parents. The accuser claims that he was given a soda that had been tampered with drugs, possibly GHB, and soon began to feel "a little funny." Combs then allegedly compelled the plaintiff to perform oral sex on him, uttering words to the effect of "you have to do some stuff you don't want to do sometimes."

Upon waking up, the accuser asserts that he experienced severe pain in his anus and buttocks, and found his pants undone. When he returned home, the boy confided in his parents about the abuse, but they were reportedly "terrified" of the repercussions of reporting it.

Despite the passage of 19 years since the alleged abuse, the plaintiff maintains that its effects have lingered and continue to cause him profound harm. "The plaintiff has suffered and continues to suffer from severe depression and anxiety, leaving him feeling hopeless and exhausted," the complaint states. "When placed in situations that remind him of the incident, he is overwhelmed by a powerful sense of panic."

Following the alleged incident, the plaintiff was educated at home due to the behavioral issues that arose, which strained many of his relationships. "He regularly battles fears and night terrors," the complaint asserts.

The plaintiff is represented by Tony Buzbee, who has previously announced his intention to represent over 100 individuals accusing Combs of misconduct. Combs, who has been sued by more than two dozen people and faces criminal charges, has steadfastly denied any wrongdoing.

"As Mr. Combs' legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every frivolous allegation in what has become a reckless media spectacle," an attorney for the music mogul stated. "However, Mr. Combs unequivocally and categorically denies any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors, as false and defamatory. He eagerly anticipates proving his innocence and clearing his name in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not conjecture."

Buzbee issued a statement to PEOPLE, saying: "We will allow the allegations in the filed complaints to speak for themselves and will strive to ensure that justice is served. We will continue to file cases weekly naming Mr. Combs and others as defendants as we gather evidence and prepare our filings."

In September, Combs was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges.
