In the midst of her ongoing break from KATSEYE, which commenced in February 2026, Manon Bannerman of KATSEYE has subtly yet meaningfully reached out to her fans. The singer recently shared a heartfelt message on the fan platform Weverse, expressing her gratitude for their unwavering support during her time away.
"Thank you so much for all the love and support you've been sending my way," Bannerman wrote. She continued, "I'm truly grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations, and I feel supported. I'm happy and healthy. I'll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me."

Around the same time, fans noticed that Bannerman had updated her Instagram bio, removing any association with KATSEYE. It now simply reads, "mademoiselle manzanita."
This significant update comes as KATSEYE prepares for the release of their new single, Pinky Up!, for which they recently dropped the first teaser, marking their first release since Bannerman's hiatus. As previously reported by PEOPLE magazine, Bannerman's hiatus was first announced on February 20 in a statement shared on the group's official X account.
"Hello. After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing," the statement read. "We fully support this decision. KATSEYE remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right," it concluded.
Apart from Manon Bannerman, KATSEYE, the six-member group, also includes Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae.
