Marciano Brunette is bravely defending himself against the allegations brought forth by Demi Engemann. Following Demi's accusation, during the third season of "The Secret Wives of Mormon Wives," which premiered on November 13, that Marciano had engaged in "unwanted touch" earlier this year, the Vanderpump Villa star issued a statement to People on November 20, stating, "I want to be absolutely clear: I am taking this matter extremely seriously. This is the most difficult situation I have ever faced, and the allegations against me are not only entirely false but profoundly damaging. I remain committed to addressing this issue fully and transparently."

In response to Marciano's denial, a representative for Demi told E! News, "As a woman, it distresses me that what happened to Demi is being minimized." The third season of SLOW's explored the events that transpired when the cast visited Italy to film a crossover episode with Vanderpump Villa, with Demi's fellow MomTokers questioning whether she and Marciano had a physical connection. While Marciano acknowledged kissing Demi, she maintained that any contact between them was "unwanted."
Demi, at 30 years old, first made the allegations public in May during an appearance on "The Viall Files," stating that she had been groped during the cast trip. Although Demi did not name her alleged assailant at the time, Marciano spoke out on social media and accused Demi of making "crazy allegations" against him. "If that were the case, why are you following me?" he asked in a May 20 Instagram video, sharing a screenshot of an alleged direct message from Demi. "Why are you giving me your phone number and proceed to have multiple hours of conversation and have a continued relationship after that?" Marciano added, "It doesn't make sense to me whatsoever."
